Who we are
Apex National Spell Bee is a non-profit educational enterprise conducting spelling competitions among students across major cities in India — the first of its kind that blends learning with fun and healthy competition.
Spelling competitions create awareness of the need to spell and pronounce words correctly, and build enthusiasm among students to learn new words. It is a convenient, comprehensive language-development program for elementary and middle-school children, where students compete, learn and develop their language skills at their own pace. The objective is to enhance children's spelling and literary skills by encouraging them to explore the English language, expand their vocabulary and improve their communication and comprehension — leading to correct usage and pronunciation of English words in their early years of growth and development.
Our mission is to strategically augment students' vocabulary and build a strong foundation in English through well-researched, periodically updated, internationally applicable and age-appropriate content, delivered through the systematically designed rounds of Apex National Spell Bee. Students studying in grades I to X are eligible to participate. Each registered student receives a WORD BANK preparatory booklet with worksheets as study material, on which the competition is based. Students must qualify at every level to advance to the next, and toppers are decided by the organisers based on performance in the written rounds.
